Super Moon— June 23, 2013Be sure to look out for the Moon these next few months as it approaches Perigee, because the full moons during these times will appear exceptionally large. The Moon will be at its Perigee, or closest approach, in July 23 and it will reach full moon only a few minutes after it passes this point in its orbit. These ‘super moons’ not only appear larger because they are physically closer but, combined with a full moon, the mind can play tricks on you to think they are much larger. This phenomena is called the Moon Illusion. Try to catch these full moons as they rise/set because the illusion works when there is an object in the foreground, like a tree, building or mountains.

McQueen created his own ‘museum of woman-monsters’ in his second couture collection fro Givenchy, Eclect Dissect, shown in July 1997. In the period leading up to to the show, his art director SImon Costin combined the late Victorian costumes McQueen was then looking at with with a series of animated skeletons and muscle men from the sixteenth-century anatomical plates of Andreas Vesalius in a series of collages.

Old artists studios in London.

Imagine having your bed up there amongst all your art stuff and all these plants you have everywhere, having rain falling on the glass above you when you wake up in the morning and huddling under a blanket drinking a hot drink while you draw or browse tumblr or whatever. In this rustic old brick building.

these are lovely but if I know the brits right that glass isn’t double paned so it’d be freezing

All I want to do is live in a house with an attached greenhouse/atrium one day. I love glass so much.
